Location data — used to show restaurants near you and calculate distances (only when you grant permission)
Push notification tokens — used to send you alerts when saved fish become available
Favorites — the sushi items you save, stored to personalize your experience and trigger notifications

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

Provide the Amberjack service (matching you with available sushi specials)
Send push notifications when a restaurant posts a fish you've saved
Show you distance to restaurants
Improve the app experience

What We Don't Do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties
We do not share your data with advertisers
We do not track your browsing activity outside of Amberjack
We do not use your data for targeted advertising

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — database and authentication
Expo — push notification delivery

These services have their own privacy policies governing their handling of data.

Your Rights

You can:

Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app
Revoke location permissions through your device settings
Disable push notifications through your device settings
Request a copy of your data by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Amberjack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
